I'm 8 Weeks Old

I'm officially 8 weeks old today. Mommy and Daddy are having so much fun with me. They liketo entertain me. Mommy does this really funny dance and Daddy tries to get me to say his name. They make me laugh...no literally...I'm laughing out loud now. As for talking, well...I haven't quite gotten it down pact yet. Mommy thinks I'll say "Mommy" first and Daddy thinks I'll say "Daddy" first. I haven't decided which one I'll say yet. You guys'll have to stay tuned to see which one I decide.

Nana visited last week. She really enjoys spending time with me. She baked a Nemo cake for me. She hums little tunes to me when I get upset. It's funny though...they always end up sounding like "The Star Spangled Banner" She sang a really funny song last week. It went like this:

Let me tell you of a story 'bout a man named Vern
Poor band director tried to teach his band to learn
Then one day while directing his band
He hit Jesse's boy with something in his hand

Well the next thing you know there's a big ole' fight
Here come Mr. Kane flying like a kite
He punched him in the collar, punched him in the chin
Grabbed him by his shirt and took him for a spin.

Today, Mommy and Daddy went out to dinner for the first time since I got here. I think they were a little aprehensive to see how I would react. But I was a good boy. I got upset a little but Mommy gave me a bottle and I settled down. They enjoyed themselves and I enjoyed my first time at a restaurant.
